Job Description

This position will support the Global VP of Marketing & Image to define, develop and implement an integrated online to offline marketing plan that is in line with the global strategy; encompassing brand, retail, strategic partnerships, advertising and digital. He or she will also manage the global product launch plan with a good understanding on how to strategize, create and implement global content for effective placements on all  channels.

 

Key to success will be driving innovation into marketing, be up-to-date with the latest related digital technology and fashion / shoe trends, and understand how to leverage content distribution/placement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Planning & Market Research
    • Strategic input into annual global marketing plan
    • Conduct competitive analysis and research on best practices
    • Support the development of the consumer Go-To-Market Calendar for all hero product launches
    • Manage brand messages across all channels from online to offline, inclusive of retail events and promotions, e-commerce content and story-telling and co-branded programs to ensure consistency of messaging across all touch points.

     

     

    Digital & Social

    • Deploy high-impact and effective holistic Digital and Social Media marketing plans to enhance consumer engagement on owned and paid channels to bridge up online and offline.
    • Focus on audience / fan engagement, acquisition (growth) and most importantly retention
    • Oversee all owned global social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Youtube) and close community and influencer management with the support of a Global Digital Agency

     

    Content Planning & Execution

    • Create seasonal and annual content plan for owned channels (social, web, blog, journal etc)
    • Support content creation for e-commerce site
    • Brief Creative Services and Production Houses on all required content
    • Schedule and manage all social posts with Digital Agency as per agreed timings and content calendar that has been signed-off by Global VP of Marketing
    • Ensure developing conversations with a growing community
    • Monitor and respond to customer feedback across social media channels, escalate any major complaints
    • Tracking, reporting and course correction as required

     

     

    Marketing & Communications (Hong Kong)

    • Develop, Manage and Implement the Hong Kong Marketing & Communications Plan:
      • Retail Marketing calendar and seasonal roadmaps to align with the Global Go-To-Market strategy
      • PR Plan and management of Hong Kong PR Agency
      • Hong Kong Facebook, community management and KOLs
    • Manage all projects to approved budgets and timelines
    • Oversee creation of all marketing materials and collaterals for Hong Kong market

     

     

    Management

    • Work closely with a small global marketing team with 1 Marketing Assistant as a direct report
    • Prepare marketing decks, proposals, presentations and other marketing collaterals to support leadership needs, external outreach (eg potential landlords or strategic partner), trade shows and other market events.
    • Track and report progress and results for all marketing programs and initiatives to Global Marketing and Direct Report on a Weekly basis.
    • Support Global Marketing Vice-President as requested.

    • Interpersonal Skills: Candidate should be able to deal and work with people with different backgrounds and temperaments and be cultural sensitive. Adaptability and flexibility are key personality traits.
    • Communication Skills : Candidate must be an excellent communicator who can aptly explain his / her vision and strategy to key stakeholders, external Agencies and the team as well as have open and frequent communication within the Global Marketing team and Department Heads. Must be able to efficiently communicate the brand’s vision to external members (Agencies, DCs, Business Partners, VIPs, Vendors) by being, but not sounding persuasive
    • Decision-Making Skills : Candidate must be a quick thinker with sharp logical and critical-thinking skills, able to keep a focused head at critical situations in order to make the best possible decisions at all times.
    • Time Management Skills: Candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and be able to meet conflicting demands and deadlines in a calm, organized and methodical manner. When it is not possible to carry out all tasks, candidate must be able to communicate this and delegate tasks to others efficiently.
    • Have an entrepreneurial spirit, is adaptable and comfortable working in a highly flexible and entrepreneurial environment. He / She also has the ability to deal with ambiguity and is nimble, reliable and flexible to deliver results through strategic and creative ideation. He / she must be able to successfully organize, prioritize and complete multiple projects concurrently with extreme attention to detail.
    • Has a strong sense of brand, product and is consumer-focused
    • Good appreciation of fashion, music, arts and is digital and social media savvy
